Congratulations! We made it to another year! Yay! Unfortunately, it continues to be very wild and nothing has changed, which is the story of all time. But I’m optimistic about all of our lives! Because I am legally obligated to think that or else I would unravel.

So what do we have to look forward to as this year continues? In the grand tradition of something-I-started-two years ago, welcome to the third iteration of the The Trend Report™ forecast for the year. As I always say, this is less about trying to “predict” the future but instead tapping into both my power of pattern recognition and literary thinking, to consider how certain storylines in our culture will evolve, extend, or end.

Walk with me, shall we? And I will attempt to keep it brief because, as we’ll see in a few weeks when I do my goals for the year, I’m trying to be more brief as there is too much content and I’m trying to reduce the stress I place upon myself and upon you all as readers. Let’s go, girls 🤠
