I keep thinking about this. It’s the 2020s and I can’t tell if there’s a roaring quality but the 1920s did and Vogue keeps writing about the “modern flapper.” The Spanish Flu started in 1918 and ended (“ended”) in 1920. Covid started in 2020 and is still going. Last week I was sick, with aches and a sore throat and a cough and watery eyes, but the Covid tests came back negative. It was weird, I kept telling people. That’s how I know its Covid.
