The best of the best as far as content from the last year.

I — unfortunately — consume too much content to really capture in one post — but I’m going to try! And also — unfortunately for the world — “content” includes everything from TikTok posts to art shows. Everything is content now! And it sucks! But some is good, or it’s a lens with which to view the world. Walk with me as we review last year!

Stupidest drama: The will-they-or-won’t-they of TikTok

TikTok was going away, then it wasn’t, then it was, all as people flocked to places like Red Note but also…ended up back on the platform, only for it officially to end up backed by Oracle. Typical!

Least interesting: Fashion

While there were some great debuts in September, the whole industry seems to lack the punch that it once had. Maybe it’s age, maybe it’s capitalism’s punching bag, but fashion isn’t giving what it once gave — and I don’t think it will do any better this year.
